House Update

As I said, we're all moved in. We're mostly unpacked, though there are some straggling boxes and such. Here are some pics of how the place looks now that we're settled.

Moved

Welp, we're all moved in! We had a bunch of friends show up to help and everything went pretty smoothly. It's been two weeks now and we have a bulk of our stuff unpacked. We focused on the really important stuff like the living room and the kitchen but we still have to set up the computer room and put all our clothes and stuff away in the master bedroom. The old owners had some crappy shelving in all of the closets instead of the standard hangy-bar thing and a shelf above it. Nell and I tend to hang most of our clothing so we really need to get this replaced before we can get the bedroom squared away.

We also got some sweet, retro furniture for the back room which really does look nice.

Once we get everything set up and clean we'll post some pics so you can see what we've done with the place.

This is the master bed room.

















There is a closet in the bathroom, and two sinks as well, no more fighting over the sink. This bathroom also has a bathtub.

















This is the bathroom upstairs in the hallway. We will eventually repaint. This bathroom has a shower stall, no tub.













This is the bedroom at the end of the hall.



















And this is the bedroom to the right at the end of the hallway. We will be painting this room too. This picture doesn't do the shockingly green paint justice.














And now back downstairs.This is the back room. We will be putting our TV and sterio and such in this room.
















That closet with the creepy silhouette on it is the closet where the washer and dryer are.
















This is the view of the patio. We will need to get some nice patio furniture to enjoy it. The patio is surrounded by a cherry tree to the left, an apple tree directly in front, and to the right is a peach tree. There is also another cherry tree off to the right.













Here's another view of the patio, and no the dog does not come with the house.
















And this is the rest of the yard. The area that is all dirt is where we can park an RV or 4 Wheelers or motorcylces if we decide to purchse them, there's an access gate that opens up behind the pool and you can ride motorcycles and stuff back there. And of course the pool!!

Here is a better picture of the swimming pool. That's a play house next to the pool.

Well, what do you think? We are super excited. Only 19 days to go!!

So Nellbot and I are starting this blog as a place to share stuff about our life; you know, all that grown up stuff. Soon there will be pictures from our wedding and pictures of the new house we are in the process of buying. Stay tuned!!
